Since version 10.0.342 of the Surface App, the configuration screen that allows to manage the Surface Pen settings, Microsoft has added some interesting functionality, especially to those used to similar advanced stylus products like Cintiq or Bamboo.

One of Windows 10’s selling points to enterprise is it’s ability to power IoT devices and Point-Of-Sale hardware. Most recently, at the National Retail Federation in New York City, Microsoft has showcased some interesting technologies set to revolutionize the way consumers interact with kiosks and other types of vending machines.

Most recently, Microsoft has posted a blog entry, detailing how the company intends to work with Intel, towards “forcing” new hardware to work exclusively with Windows 10, or at least that’s what the newswires wants us to think.

What’s striking about these cases, is the amount of detail, which, on relatively simple and basic devices like the Apple iPad, may not be as evident, as it is when looking at the final result of a fully-covered Microsoft Surface Book, or Surface Pro.
