As anybody who pays attention to the tech world will be able to attest, the major companies are always working fast to develop new products and systems upgrades to release to the public. Apple, as one of the worldwide leaders of the technology industry, never slows down - even just after making major announcements. About a week after its latest operating system, iOS 8, was released, reports are now surfacing that Apple is already hard at work on three new updates.
This is a break from Apple's release schedule in previous years, where only one major iOS upgrade was released at a time. The tech giant is now working simultaneously on iOS 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3, according to 9to5Mac. It is not currently clear to anybody why Apple is switching up a previously-established tradition, or what new and updated apps and features will be included. It is expected, however, that some iOS 8 upgrades that are not currently available - such as Apple Pay - will be made public.
The report also does not include a timetable for when we should be expecting the new iOS, but some insiders have speculated that it could be made available the next time Apple announces a major new product sale date. The Apple Watch will likely be the first opportunity the company has, as that has previously been reported to be ready for a early 2015 release. Other opportunities will come later next year, when Apple addresses the rumored iPad Pro or updated Macbook Air.
