The Apple rumor mill is frequently churning out stories about the next big thing to come out of Cupertino. And, with a history of innovation as extensive as Apple's, it's not hard to tell why. Lately, the big business that has been built around publishing early looks at the inner workings at Apple, has been reporting incessantly about possible devices in the works, including an iWatch and Apple TV.
Though very little is known about either of these presumed projects at Apple, we've been given plenty of guesses about both. And those who can't wait to get an iWatch on their wrist will be thrilled to find out that Apple-watching blog AppleInsider reported early today that its researchers have discovered a patent for what is believed to be this potentially revolutionary device in public records.
According to the results of the team's investigation, the company has filed a patent for what could be an iWatch. And, though patent-based rumors rarely hold up on their own, because this one has come out in addition to numerous other reports, it makes it much more likely to be true.
The purported iWatch would fit on the wearer's wrist similarly to a slap bracelet, and provide an extra screen from which the owner can quickly check emails, text messages or other data that's routed through their iPhone or iPad mini.
It remains to be seen whether the iWatch will be the biggest thing to come out of Cupertino in 2013, but, according to the mounting evidence of its existence, it just might. If that's the case, it will be the perfect accessory to go with your customized laptops and iPads from PortableOne. Speak to any of our experts about how to create your ideal device today.
