Since 1984, Apple has been making disruptive changes to various aspects of tech. First it was the personal computer, then the music industry, then the smartphone and most recently, the personal computer again with the iPad and iPad mini, but recently, some analysts have been wondering whether Apple has any more windmills to chase.
Tech writer Tim Bajarin weighed in on this issue for Tech.pinions recently, and pointed out all of the areas that Apple could change the game on. His article was both a short trip through the impressive history as Apple as a brand and an innovator, as well as a look into the great and exciting future of Apple-redesigned products. Bajarin mentioned that the company could redesign television, watches or even the inside of the automobile.
In discussing the Apple TV rumors that have been swirling in the tech community for years now, Bajarin mentioned that he thinks the value of the system won't be found in the device itself - whether it's a screen or a set-top box - but rather, the way that system interacts with all of your other Apple products. The company has the opportunity to not only make it easier to navigate the system of channels and content that is television, but also make viewing a more social experience.
He discussed what the inside of a car designed by Apple might look like, and how it would simplify the tasks that a driver uses the screen in their car for while behind the wheel. The company certainly has more to innovate and further improve, and the prospect of more industries that have been changed by Apple is a positive one.
