The Apple rumor mill is picking up steam as we approach September 10, when it is expected that the company will announce new iPhones and the release of its iOS 7 software. The release of the next iPhone is a critical moment for Apple, which have seen more heated competition in the mobile marketplace now that Samsung and Google are producing smartphones and tablets that some think are competitive in terms of both feature set and price.
