Microsoft is anything but out of the mobile phone business, in spite of rumors and assumptions derived from its disassociation from Nokia, and the handoff of Lumia mobile phone division.

Microsoft has turned up the heat on its competition, last November, by upgrading its flagship Surface Book, to an i7 Skylake processor, a larger battery, and an improved graphic chipset. While the Surface Book i7 is not yet the Surface Book 2 we have been waiting for, the difference is visible, compared to its precursor.

Microsoft Windows 10 Creators Update will reach consumers later this year, but chances are that Fast Ring Insiders will get it as soon as this month, and word has it, there will be a few interesting additions, one of which might appeal to old-school Windows users.

If there is one thing that Microsoft got undeniably right about creative professionals, with its most recent unveiling of their brand new Microsoft Surface Studio, is that the way most people draw, draft and design, is by using both hands, not just one.
