Early this month, Apple introduced the Audeze EL-8, as the “world’s first headphones with a fully integrated Apple Lightning cable.”. The headset is the latest of a line of high-end devices created specifically for discerning audiophiles.

Early this week, New York-based video production company Littlstar has announced a new app that gives owners of Apple TV, access to a library of 360-degree video content from Showtime, Disney, Discovery, PBS, Mountain Dew, National Geographic, Red Bull, and more.

Apple has issued a statement to Tech Insider, debunking the speculations. The spokesperson contacting Tech Insider has also mentioned that the laptop featured in the 60 minutes special is in fact the 12 inch MacBook Retina released on April 10 2015, and not a next generation concept.

Sources originating from Japanese blog site Macotakara, are hinting to a big upgrade coming to iTunes in 2016. The upgrade has to do primarily with the enhancement of the audio quality to what the sources describe as “High Resolution” audio.
