What's new with Microsoft Windows 10 Preview Build 11099

This morning, Gabe Aul has made good on his promise to announce a brand new Preview Build, 11099, to fast ring Insiders. The previous build, 11082, was released a month ago, carrying a number of improvements under the hood, and a few glitches. Glitches, big or small, are to be expected with this new fast ring builds, as Gabe Aul has mentioned that these builds will be on par with builds released to internal rings. This means a slightly higher number of bugs and issues, than in previous instances.

While this may be a minor problem when moving files, copying files becomes problematic, as it’s unclear whether the system will just copy the files without asking permission, or if it still requires confirmation, which means that copying files in a destination folder where the same file names already exist, isn’t likely to accomplish anything at all.

It’s been awhile, since the last major Windows 10 Preview build, 11082, was released, and Windows 10 insiders are getting impatient. Microsoft had announced that as of 2016, new builds would be released at a much faster pace, which is making Insiders a little anxious.
