Microsoft is making good on its promise, from its Build Event, to bring back more legacy apps to Windows 10, through Project Centennial, AKA Desktop App Converter, which is a program developed to convert applications from a number of programming languages, to be able to run on Windows 10 as universal apps.

Further proof of widespread adoption of desktop-bound virtual assistants, are reports of a 60% increase in Cortana usage, since the inception of Windows 10, a year ago.

As the Windows Team gets closer to tightening up the screws on the upcoming Anniversary Update of Microsoft Windows 10, more builds keep making their way to Insiders, with the latest one being Build 14371, featuring a number of significant improvements,particularly related to activation and install issues.

As it turns out, Microsoft Wallet is tiptoeing its way towards consumers, by using a smart approach that allows Microsoft’s brand new digital wallet app to interface with hardware that already exists at retail, as well as with its own proprietary hardware solution.
