What to expect at Apple’s “Let us loop you in.” event

Monday, March 21st, Apple has officially planned to host its “Let us loop you in” keynote event, at 10 a.m. PDT, confirming rumors that Apple would host the keynote a day prior to its FBI hearing.

Let us loop you in keynote event

Apple is expected to unveil at least three brand new product, including new Apple Watch bands, the iPhone SE, and the rumored 2016 9.7 inch iPad Pro.

Going by the title of the keynote, the live event will likely hinge on the Apple Watch, with that said, according to a recent poll by 9to5Mac, the 9.7 inch iPad Pro could very well steal the show, as one of the most highly anticipated products this year.

Aside from the smaller form factor matching that of the iPad Air, it’s very possible that the new tablet will feature the same 4-speaker system as its larger version, as well as support for the Apple Pencil, which is great news for consumers who have purchased the accessory, and would like to know whether the stylus can be eventually used with a broader range of future iPads. The new tablet will also feature a new smaller keyboard and Smart Connector.

The iPhone SE is another product of interest, which is said to feature a 4-inch screen, with a design and features similar to the iPhone 5.

OS updates

A big round of updates is expected to be announced at the keynote, including iOS 9.3, which is said to bring some interesting new features, such as a night mode, to help reduce the effects of sleep deprivation when looking at a screen at night.

A new iTunes update is also in the works, as well as Mac OS X 10.11.4, tvOS 9.2, and watchOS 2.2.

Among some of the new Apple Watch bands rumored to be unveiled, we’ll see a new black Milanese loop band, and a series of NATO-Style nylon bands, with a potential partnership with Hermes, for an eventual expansion of the current line up.
