Wacom releases the perfect Universal sketching app for Surface devices
Some of the most popular Windows 10 universal apps provide users to unleash their creativity with advanced and fun sketching and drawing tools, as well as sophisticated, lifelike digital painting methods. Some of the earliest examples were Fresh Paint, Graphiter, and SketchBook for Tablet.
To owners of Windows 10 tablets and stylus-supportive touch devices, like Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Book, there is nothing quite like the ability to set their creativity free, by sketching, drawing and painting, as well as sharing their creations with friends or on social media.
Yesterday, December 22nd, graphic tablets manufacturer Wacom has released Bamboo Paper, as a Microsoft Windows 10 universal app . Bamboo Paper has been available to mobile users on Android and iOS for some time, but only recently, the app was made available to Windows 10 users, across all devices, including Lumia 950 and 950XL handsets.
What makes this app stand out is the ability to share sketches and drawings with other users, in a collaborative environment, and even relinquish control over the notebook to other users.
The app supports a shareable notebook feature working in a similar way as Microsoft OneNote, where all content within the notebook can be shared. This is great news for owners of Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Book especially, as the app comes with full support for Wacom’s WILL software, a proprietary ink technology capable of delivering a natural smooth writing and sketching experience, on Windows 10 tablets.
The free version of this app includes 6 brushes and pens, while in-app purchases allow to expand the array of, with even more sketching and drawing tools, as well as different styles of paper for a more natural experience.
This latest version of Bamboo Paper has been created specifically for Windows 10, and can be used with any Windows 10 compatible stylus.
