These Apple Stores animated displays will get you to look twice

Apple’s new iPad smart covers showcases are grabbing attention, as reported by YouTuber Joe Rossignol, who has spotted some interesting Apple Store displays, featuring iPad smart covers that move, opening and closing by themselves, possibly through magnetized animatronics.

The new display has certainly increased foot traffic, catching customers attention and leading many to ask about how the visual trick is achieved.

So far, London’s Apple Stores have been the only ones featuring the moving iPad covers, however this display is but one of the many examples of what Apple Stores have created to attract customers:

Light Show

In this example, LED lighting has been used to entertain passers-by with an animated light show display, featuring random shapes and designs promoting the iPad Air.

A little fun with backdrops, in this short clip, iPhones were used as part of the animated display.
