Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is making a killing in Enterprise

If there is one thing that Microsoft has changed about the business world, is the speed at which enterprises have begun upgrading their systems to newer operating systems and devices.

Since the official release of Microsoft Windows 10, almost 50% of businesses have upgraded to the new operating system, whether via software, by upgrading their existing infrastructure, or through purchasing new devices, to replace old ones.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

Since their official inception on the market, devices like the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, have seen soaring pre-order numbers, from corporate customers, including Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, USI Insurance, and Land O’ Lakes, reportedly ordering large quantities of the Surface Pro 4, between few hundreds, to thousands of units.

The form factor and flexibility of the Surface Pro, makes these devices perfect for businesses requiring the processing power of a laptop, and the portability of a tablet.

Microsoft Director of Surface Cyril Belikoff went on record, on behalf of the company, saying: “The Surface Pro 4 sweet spot is, ‘I want a tablet, but need a laptop...”, which is becoming a frequent motivator for users to choose hybrid devices for most daily tasks, as newer generation of tablet PCs running Windows 10, are gradually shedding the stigma of low performance ARM devices, not being comparable to desktop/laptop systems.

Updated warranty terms for Microsoft Surface devices

Due to popular demand, Microsoft has made an important update to its enterprise warranty policy, which used to cover devices individually.

Now, companies buying Microsoft devices and accessories, will benefit from a more comprehensive warranty policy that will cover the entire range of devices purchased for an organization.

Upgrading the warranty policy is a smart move as the Surface Pro 4 is gaining unprecedented momentum among all Surface devices.
