A new era for the MacBook Pro has just begun, according to KGI Securities chief analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has communicated in a note to investors, that Apple could be releasing an updated MacBook Pro powered by an Intel Kaby Lake CPU, and with the option to configure the laptop with as much as 32GB of “desktop-class” RAM, doubling the upgrade option of any other MacBook currently available.

It’s been four years since we last saw an update of Apple’s ultimate desktop, the Mac Pro. With barely another four to go before this powerful, yet aging professional workstation receives its first hint of an impending vintage status, Apple continues to show “ambivalence”, as Cult Of Mac puts it, in regard to the high-end, “industrial-grade” computing trend, whose popularity peaked in the early 2000’s.

Right off the batt, some of you may ask: Why should we even talk about a Surface Book 3, if the 2 is not even in yet? A good answer to that would be that talking about the Surface Book 3 would be like talking about going to Mars. It will definitely be a reality, sometime in the future, with tons of realistic speculation that can be made about how such feat will be accomplished, and how monumental it will be when it finally happens.

Chinese website Wei Feng reported last week that an updated Apple Pencil is slated for an announcement early this year, alongside what some have speculated as an upcoming 10.5 inch iPad Pro, which could reach consumers as early as March.
