Apple’s CEO Tim Cook must be doing a victory lap, right about now. Stocks have never soared higher, sales figures are at an all-time high, and Apple Inc is sitting on more than $300 billion in cash.

Those who lived and breathed technology in 1997, will remember a time where innovation was at a turning point, and many of the cool gadgets and technologies we take for granted today were barely transitioning from being a glimpse into the imagination of pioneers like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, to becoming the first prototypes of a bigger vision that would shape modern computing for decades.

With no official word yet on a reboot of the aging Apple Mac Mini in 2017, fans of the mini-desktop Mac are running low of hopes, while hanging on existing rumors of a March relaunch.
