Prior to the 2015 refresh of apple TV, the streaming set top box was but one device left in the back-burner. The Thunderbolt display was last updated in September 2011, with no more updates after that, which has left some wonder whether Apple may be considering the path it took with Apple TV, and refresh a product line on the verge of being obsolete, or the path that lead to the permanent retirement of the original iPad, a product far behind what was to come, in the wake of the mobile revolution.

With the iMac Retina 5K, and subsequently its 4K entry-level option, Apple has officially let consumers know that the bar on computer display resolutions has been raised, and the options for PC and Mac users looking to expand their desktop real estate, are multiplying.

Evidence of Apple’s interest in designing advanced audio hardware for future devices, can be traced back to the iPad Pro’s somehow underrated quadraphonic audio system, which uses the device’s gyroscopic sensors to determine the position of the tablet, and automatically re-calibrate the sound emitted from each speaker, for a fuller, more life-like experience.

In the wake of public announcements from Quanta’s CEO, Barry Lam, that an Apple Watch 2 is about to enter trial production as soon as this month, speculations on the look and specs of the upcoming device, have been mounting.
