The lack of information on the next iPhone has been surprising, as Apple has been particularly airtight in regard to what the next generation handset will look like, how big it will be, and whether or not it will feature any of the rumored specs suggested by the most recent patent filings.

A new app made its presence known on the App Store, called “Channels”. The $15 app lets consumers watch live television, and flip through over-the-air channels, on Apple TV, without ever having to use the regular TV remote.

The good old Hard Disk Drive is on its way out, with SSDs and flash drives being the last nails in its coffin.

With the release of the iPad Pro, Apple officially introduced its A9X chip, powering a device twice as fast as its A9 counterpart powering the iPad Air, while leaving the A8 chip powering the iPhone 6S in a trail of dust. This is according to the latest Thanksgiving teardown from Chipworks.
