According to sources close to the team at work on the next version of the Apple Watch, rumored to be slated for next year the next Apple Watch could feature a list of enhancements and technologies planned to render the device completely independent from the iPhone, or other paired devices, on which, in its current form, it relies for connectivity, data gathering and notifications, in a very non-native fashion.

The new back-to-school laptops will initially ship with Windows 8.1, and will all be eligible to upgrade for free to Windows 10 on July 29th. The new key will allow users to activate Cortana, in the same way as the Windows key brings up the task bar menu, which makes the new Cortana key, the second of its kind, and most likely a key that will be adopted by other operating systems as well, as voice-activated virtual assistants gain popularity.

Whether users will upgrade their existing OS, or their device, the great news is that Windows 10 will support the widest possible range of desktop and laptop PCs as well as most of the latest Windows Surface tablets capable of running Windows 8.1.
