A new device, yet to be released, promises to enable owners to charge laptops with a USB Type-C connector, like the New 2015 MacBook at full speed, multiple times.

The 12.9 inch retina display will feature a resolution of 2,732 x 2,048 pixels, with a 264 ppi density. Sharp will be the primary supplier for the displays, with Samsung as the fallback supplier, ready to start manufacturing its own screens as early as September. Sharp has already started shipping an initial batch of displays to Apple, which have reportedly passed preliminary quality tests.

All smartphone users, may their allegiance be pledged to Android, iOS or Windows Phone, will be able to connect to Windows 10, and synchronize all their content, contacts and more.

With Apple no longer selling the original iPad Mini, the tech giant has officially covered every new Apple iOS device currently available to consumers. The Retina display made its debut in 2012, when the first generation iPad Mini was introduced, and with the discontinuation of that first pioneering device, the company has gone officially full-circle, extending the Retina display to all iOS devices.
