One of the major announcements at last week's Worldwide Developers Conference was that Apple would soon release a new version of Mac OS X, the operating system installed on all its computer hardware, including the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac.

Apple is releasing an update to its OS X Mountain Lion operating system that will feature numerous improvements and bug fixes, reports Ars Technica, a technology news website.

Ever since Apple replaced their IBM-designed PowerPC processors with Intel Core CPU's, users have been able to install Microsoft Windows alongside their Mac OSX operating system, giving them the best of both worlds.
