Loving the weight, one of the lightest laptops I've ever used.
>>Eyecandy:<<
Real estate is a big deal to me, even on a 13 inch screen, and the HD 5000 does a good job, sporting 1440 by 900 pixels, and even better on my external displays. Smooth, flicker-free video playback. Mountain Lion is probably one of my favorite desktop OS, until i get my hands on Yosemite...
>>Performance<<
While the MacBook Air is not a Pro Retina, it's still pretty fast and handles most daily tasks without a hitch. I do a fair bit of design, writing and database work every day, so i have to rely on this machine a lot, for everything that is not heavy production, like batch image processing or video editing.
>>Looks<<
It's a great looking MacBook, perhaps even better due to the fact that's one of the thinnest laptops I've had. The finish feels great, and it seems fairly durable.
>>battery life<<
I can see a considerable improvement over previous laptops I've owned, especially when streaming video or while performing other resource-intensive tasks, i don't worry as much about keeping it plugged as i used to with other laptops.
