One of the 50 original Apple 1 computers, assembled by Steve Wozniak, in Steve Jobs' family garage in 1976, was reportedly sold by New York City auction house Bonhams, for $905,000, on Monday.

There is as many as five reasons, if not more, for these new iMacs to be destined to set the bar for future consumer products, even outside the Apple ecosystem.

Nearly every prediction regarding what was to be announced, with the exception of some obvious ones, hit the mark, and if we were to read between Tim Cook lines, these announcements are the last ones, in Tim Cook’s words: “before we close out this year”.

With a new Apple event held in Cupertino, tomorrow morning, many hope to catch a glimpse of the device, while news reports are beginning to cite sources that appear skeptical on the matter, including RE/Code, the very source that predicted this event before it was even confirmed by Apple.
